Here is another example of the platform I refer to as a "Cowboy Bowie". This particular one was forged from a billet of Andersen Forge Single Twist Damascus. All of the take-down fittings are 416 Stainless Steel. And that spectacular handle was made from a block of Desert Ironwood. What collection of forged knives is complete without a Cowboy Bowie??
