Sometimes it's difficult to put a knife into a particular category. Such it is with knives like this.
I could call it a Short Occasional Bowie - and that would work.
But...........I'll put it here.
I forged this from a large round bar od "Old Ass" W2 acquired from Don Hanson III. His steel set the bar for all other providers of W2. It's some very old stock.
When you see my knives like this, just assume they are take-down. This one has a mild steel guard that I parkerized and some pretty slick stabilized spalted maple.
