You might hear or see me say many times that a frosted and hot-blued guard, along with some stabilized spalted maple just might be one of my favorite take-down handle configurations.
Because it is.
That recipe got matched up with a really nice blade forged from W1 round stock that was clay processed for the distinctive hamon.
